Our house is officially for sale. We have listed it on Zillow.com for $114,000. Not making money on it, just trying to sell quickly so we can get moved back closer to Zachary. I will be getting pictures posted on Zillow of everything possible on the house. Address is 302 Hunter St. Portland, Tn 37148. Check it out on Zillow.com all the information on it is there. When I get all of my pictures together, I will do another blog with all the dimensions of each room. Please pass this around to anyone you know who may be interested. This move is very important to us. Thank you for looking at what I had to say

Why do I work here??
I don't know if I have ever been so embarrased to work for an organization. I know that we can not always look at the past for what we need now or the future. We have to keep up with the times, and what the public and our state needs from us at the current time. That is why I try to refrain from saying I wish things were back the way they used to be, but I do wish things were greatly different. I think that even our seasoned guys that have many years of experience have lost their ever-loving minds. We all have a job to do, and people to serve. Our higher ups are so have their men so afraid to do their jobs. I have gotten to where I feel sorry for those who call us when they are in need. I side with them when they find themselves angy and disgusted with us over our lack of service. When you have a trooper that is in his county that he works, and receives a call for service, and it takes him an hour and a half, and then he wonders why they are not there when he arrives. Many times, these calls are a female with three kids on the side of the interstate in the middle of the summer in the heat. I understand they get frustrated helping those who just didn't get gas when they knew they were low. It happens all day long. But when I send someone to a wreck, and they just go when they want, what the hell.
But I got way off topic. I wish that we had people that could do their job. Let's not pass the buck to the next guy. Let's not mention positions, because heaven forbid that I lose my job. Let's just say that I already have a hard time working for such an organization that thinks so little of those doing the work, and thinks so much of the image they have created for themselves.
Let's not get into lack of supervision. And we will not!

Sickness
Well, I was off work yesterday due to myself being under the weather, as well as Shiloh. Shiloh is much worst than me, but hoping she gets better soon. I have had body aches for about a week and a half. Then I started waking up every morning about a week ago with a killer headache that took the majority of the day to get rid of. And finally, I for about the last five to six days, I have started getting a fever in the evening that held at 100 degrees until about eight at night, then it would creep up. I think I am over it all now. Had a very slight headache this morning, but easily got rid of it and actually had to turn the fan on at work for the first time in almost six years here. My boss frustrated me over taking off Saturday for myself being sick. I had to take off Friday because of Shiloh being sick and unable to return to daycare. Oh well, no blood was shed and I am back at work. I am just supprised Brooke has not kicked me and Shiloh out yet. With myself on the mend, I have to help Brooke get Shiloh recovered. She is so pitiful, if she is not showing much improvement by Monday, then she is staying home with me and going to the doctor. When insurance doesn't get you all the healthcare you are looking for, see where handguns can get you. Now that is "healthcare reform". Well, I will keep updated on Shiloh.

My first blog
Well, I have joined the world of bloggers. I hope I can keep this pretty up to date with work and all. If they would get 3G in Portland, we would be cookin!! Don't see that happening any time soon. Well, I am not going to say much right now, I have to finish setting this thing up.
